MARKET AUCTION · NQ TREND ANALYSIS

See the trend your
next trade is running into.

The three-minute chart can be rallying while the larger swing still points down. Market Auction follows your chosen high and low through five timeframes, so you can inspect that rally against the structure above it.

FROM 4 HOURS DOWN TO 3 MINUTES

A short rally doesn’t erase the larger downtrend.

Before treating a bounce as a change of direction, see where it sits against the larger swing. The same chosen starting points carry through the timeframe views, giving you a consistent reference as you inspect the next move.

  1. 4 hoursStart with the larger swing.
  2. 1 hourInspect its structure at a closer scale.
  3. 30 minutesFollow the developing session.
  4. 15 minutesLook at the nearer price action.
  5. 3 minutesCompare the latest move with the rays.

The analysis keeps updating during the session.

Fresh prices and candles update the trend view. Watch price reach a ray, pull away or trade through it while the larger reference remains visible. Developing lines can change as new data arrives.

Both directions can matter at once.

Red rays descend from highs and green rays rise from lows. Both can appear when the market has competing structures. The selected range and separate HalfTrend overlay add price references alongside the rays.

MULTI-TIMEFRAME TREND ANALYSIS

A 20-point NQ rally can still sit inside a falling swing.

Multi-timeframe analysis compares the same market at different chart intervals. A larger interval gives you the broader price structure; a shorter one reveals the path of the latest move. Both describe the market, but they answer different questions.

Follow one set of starting points.

Suppose NQ rises from 30,100 to 30,120 while a descending ray passes above it near 30,140. The short chart shows a 20-point rally. The larger structure still places a falling reference above that move. These prices are illustrative.

In Market Auction, the high and low you selected give the analysis a consistent starting reference. Move between the four-hour, one-hour, 30-minute, 15-minute and three-minute views to inspect how the rally fits.

Observe what changes as the rally develops.

If price pulls away below the descending ray, you can follow that response on the shorter chart. If it trades through, watch the subsequent price action and the developing structure.

A cross is an observation to assess with your trading rules. Rays can change as fresh candles arrive. The view keeps the larger swing available while you inspect that new information.

Red rays descend from highs; green rays rise from lows. Both can be present when price sits between competing structures. That is useful context for a market that is rallying locally while approaching a larger falling reference.

To examine the transactions during that move, use NQ or MNQ executed trade pressure. A line describes price structure. The contract totals tell you about the classified buying and selling around the tracked line.

EXECUTED TRADES AROUND THE TREND

Is the selling below that red line moving price?

A red ray describes a falling trend. The trades below it can still show net buying. Pressure Pulse gives you the bought, sold and net contract totals, then a separate gauge shows how far price has moved.

Selling exceeds buying by 250 contracts, and price is 6 points lower than its starting price.

These are example executions and price moves, not a live reading or a suggested trade.

Track each ray separately

The red row counts classified executions below the tracked red ray. The green row counts executions above the tracked green ray. When both rays are present, both rows can run. Trades between the rays may count in both rows, so you should not add the rows together.

Keep the starting point visible

Counts accumulate from the start of tracking that ray. Each row records the tracking time, first qualifying execution, its price and its distance from the ray. The gauge compares current price with that first execution: green above the start, red below it.

Contract totals describe market executions, not your account’s fills. Delayed data and interruptions are labeled.

READ THE TIME LABELS

A 30-minute trend and a one-minute pressure reading can coexist.

Chart intervals and execution windows describe different measurements
LabelWhat the interval means
30-minute chartEach candle groups price activity into a 30-minute interval. The selected trend view uses that chart context.
One-minute pressureA rolling window of recent classified executions. It can update while the current chart candle is still forming.
Trend-ray trackerCumulative qualifying executions since tracking began, with the starting time and first execution shown beside the row.
Price from startCurrent price compared with the first qualifying execution price. The difference is measured in points, separately from net contracts.

A tracker can show net selling and a positive price change at the same time. The first describes executed volume; the second describes how far price moved. That disagreement is visible in the trade-pressure example above.

USE IT BESIDE YOUR EXISTING CHARTS

Start with a swing you already want to follow.

Pick its high and low, switch between the timeframe views, and compare current price with the rays and selected range. You can inspect the trend before deciding whether the next move fits your own trade plan.

Market Auction suits NQ traders who look at more than one timeframe. Your starting points and chart preferences belong to your signed-in account.

What you’ll want to know.

Do I choose the starting points?

Yes. Pick the swing high and low you want the analysis to follow. Your saved starting points and chart preferences stay with your signed-in account.

Is this only a 30-minute chart?

The trend views cover four hours, one hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes and three minutes. The separate Auto Trend / HalfTrend line uses its own timeframe and settings.

Does a trend ray tell me to place an order?

A ray shows the selected price structure. You decide how it fits your entry, exit and risk rules. Chart markers describe readings; filled trades belong to your execution account.

What happens after the trial?

The 15-day trial is $0 today and continues at $149/month unless you cancel before it ends. Review the subscription terms at checkout. You can also compare the other access options.
